Iron Brion

We enjoyed the special visit from Iron Brion last week. We learnt all about sensible food choices and how food is grouped into things we can eat little of, some things we can eat some of and some things we can eat all the time.

Room 10 updates

We have been trying super hard with our learning in Room 10. Our Inquiry has us exploring new words and using them in our everyday classroom programme, words such as: connecting, collaborating, reflecting, questioning, discerning and being resilient. What a success our musical 'Save Our Planet' was! The children had such a great time presenting how talented they are to everyone. 

Setting goals for our learning

We are always seeing the benefits of setting goals for our learning. They mean that we have a vision of where we are heading and what we need to do to get there. On our classroom wall we all have a goal sheet with 3 goals on it, one is for Reading, one is for Writing and one is for Maths. 

Learning to tell the time

In Room 10 we have been very busy learning to tell the time as part of our measurement unit. This has been lots of fun and it is amazing how quickly we all picked up on how to do this!
